High gas prices do not mean you can’t have fun

Do you find yourself cringing at the gas pumps now that gas as skyrocketed to nearly a $1.00 per litre?
Well it might be tough to swallow, but the fact of the matter is they are saying the prices will not be coming down anytime soon and perhaps not until late summer, if at all.
I hear people saying they are thinking about not taking a summer vacation this year because of the high gasoline prices. But things do not need to be that drastic.
There is plenty of great things to do on vacation right here in our back yard.

After all this is one of the premier tourist destinations for people from all over the United States.
There is great fishing on the Rainy River and Lake of the Woods. Camping opportunities abound with a park just north of Rainy River and in Bergland. Several tourist camps allow camping on their property.
So if you want to get away, but not have to drive too far, take a look around... there is so much offered just minutes away from here.
