Thanks for your help!

Long weekends are great for all of you who do not put out a newspaper. But for us it usually means a very crazy short week and this one was no exception!
The weekend was bustling with activities with the Men's Bonspiel and Shiver on the River 5 km run and Family Day activities for me to cover.
Just before the weekend two of our teams won NORWOSSA gold and silver medals but only scant bits of information had filtered into our office by Tuesday.
So as you can imagine, yesterday we were scrambling to get all the information together for you to read.
Couple in the fact that last week's cancelled council meeting due to a lack of quorum was rescheduled for yesterday at 5 p.m. (not the usual 7 p.m.) I was frantic to get the paper ready.
Early in the day Mickey Gustafson spoke to me via Facebook chat and said he had a write up and a photo of a hockey team that did well! I was so glad he made his submission.
In the past few weeks several people have stepped up and submitted photos and copy of events taking place that I could not get to. I really appreciate these efforts and hope that people continue to help us make this a community newspaper paper.
