Inferno consumes home

Dan Usiski, left, was one of few witnesses to see the former Mel Weafer residence, now owned by his daughter Andrea Weafer, lost to fire Thursday morning around 6 a.m. By the time the fire department was on scene the building was a total inferno and could not be saved. There was no word of a cause at press time but the building had power to it as the line dropped from the building shortly after this photo was taken and sparked and danced all over the ground.
