Let’s get this party started!
After years of planning and a great deal of very hard work by many Rainy Riverites it is time to start the big party!
Yes the community has turned 100 and that means it is time to let our hair down and party hardy!
This party should be like none the community has ever witnessed. Just about everyone I have talked to that used to live here is coming home.
There should be some fantastic reunions this weekend as old friends from years gone by meet all over again.
Our streets will be crowded and traffic congestion will likely be a problem rarely seen in Rainy River.

That may cause a bit of stress for some local residents who are used to the usually tranquil community. But be patient, as it will all be over before we can say Happy Birthday 100 times!
To all who are visiting please be patient with us. Often we don’t signal at a corner because everyone in a small town knows where everyone is going.
To all, be wary of kids running out into the streets. Often they play in the streets and have little traffic to contend with.
To both visitors and locals have a great and safe centennial celebration!
