Deteoration

The 50+ year old international automobile bridge between Rainy River, Ont. and Baudette, Mn. is nearing the end of its life. Corrosion, impacts and age have put the bridge on track to be replaced later this decade. This photo, taken by MnDOT, shows cracks in the concrete and rust on the bridge. The photo was one of many shown to a border working group last year to stress the importance for replacing the bridge.
