What a strange Spring! Ooops! I mean Winter!

What have you seen this past week that is unusual?
I myself thought the most unusual thing that I would see this past week was the complete disappearance of the snow. After all they were calling for warm temperatures... but I never expected to see many many more out of the ordinary things.
Last week the first thing I noticed were two Canadian Geese down at the park... even though the ice was not out.
Later in the week I saw two swans.
Then over the weekend I saw a mosquito, a robin and a deer tick... all things that should not be around in MARCH!!!!!
The one other thing that I thought was unusual with the warm weather and wind was the slow progress of the river going out. Two weeks ago I saw it open in Emo. The next Tuesday it had only made it to between Barwick and Stratton. But river watchers say it is because of the slow and low flow of water. What a strange Spring... ooops I mean winter!
