Spring has sprung!

Last Tuesday morning one would have thought the Rainy River would be another several days before it went out. There was ice all across it and as of Monday it had only gone out just west of Pinewood. But this year the ice was like a cube in a glass. It started melting from the middle as record temperatures heated it up and by 2 p.m. Tuesday it had opened from the middle at first to wide open! It was the third earliest date on record.
