An exciting six weeks lie ahead1

Do you ever look at the calendar with excitement and anticipation?
We have been doing just that this past week. Of course anyone who is on my Facebook knows I watch the calendar starting in January with anticipation of camping season.
However, this year has been extra exciting as we purchased a new camper back in January and are chomping at the bit to use it!
But as we drove it home from the dealer in January we began talking about something I have never done in the 23+ years here at the Record... taking a two week vacation... and I mean a real vacation!
Last year I took all four weeks of my vacation time off... but used it to build a garage/salon for my honey. That was the first year I have ever taken all my holidays since I started here.
So we are planning a two week trip to Mount Rushmore and Denver, Colorado to see her family.
With it booked, the calendar for the next six weeks is filled with exciting activities that will keep us hopping!
This weekend is my future step-son's birthday and Kim's mom and step-dad come home from Belize for a visit. We have not seen them for 2 and 3 years respectively.
The next is our first camping trip!
The weekend after Kim and family are coming up here for a family reunion and graduations.
The next weekend Kim is taking her daughter and several other girls on a girl scout trip to the Twin Cities... I will be getting camper ready for our vacation!
Then vacation arrives and before you know it July will be here!
