Hydro One needs to do a better job

Yesterday we received no advanced warning from Hydro One that our power was going to be off for three hours.
So one can imagine how frustrated we were when it went off right in the middle of our production day.
Without power we can not write, create ads, edit photos or build pages.
We have staff on the time clock that can not do much more than wait for the power to come back on.
When a staff member called to see what the deal was with the power outage she was told that we needed to give them an account number to find out what is happening.
Well we rent our office space hence we do not have an account with them.
After speaking with the person on the phone for a few minutes it became clear Hydro One has no clear way of telling someone from Rainy River or any other town in the outage why their power is out if they are not an account holder.
They made her answer stupid questions like, "Did you check your breaker panel" when we already knew the entire town was out.
She had to play along. "Yes we checked the box (no we didn't). Yes we checked to see if the neighbour has power (no we didn't) and finally the person on the phone agreed to say that the power would be out until 2 p.m.
So we had to sit and wait for the clock to strike 2... it did and still no power. It was 2:45 when it finally came on.
Hydro One needs a better communication system with all its users.
