Sore back and bones
Ken
Fall fishing... some say there is nothing like it. On most days I tend to agree.
However, on Sunday my good buddy and I went out for the first time this fall. We make this annual pilgrimage out on the Rainy River and fish up a storm, usually only a mile or two away from town and usually do quite good.
But on Sunday all we managed to catch was cold and in my case a sore bottom and back.
It was very windy and hence very choppy on the river. We bounced from wave to wave travelling up
and down the river in search of some those nice walleye caught at the RRWT.
Well we had no luck finding them, but we did find many waves to surf through.
While it was rough, it was still nice to get out there and try our luck. This week the weather is supposed to improve, starting today and hopefully we will be able to get out after work a couple of times and find them fall walleyes.
–Until then,
Ken
