Ken Johnston

We work hard to protect our family members. We keep tabs on our kids and other loved ones so that we know they are safe. When they go missing we call for them and for the most part they can answer us.
The four legged members of our families can not always answer us and if they get lost and then found they do not have the ability to tell others where they live.
A couple of weeks ago I was on the internet and found a new program called “The Pet Recovery Team.”
I started to read about it on the Humane Society of Canada’s website and was instantly intrigued.
While microchip systems exist that allow you to track your pet if they are lost they do cost money.

The Pet Recovery Team is offering a service that is totally free and requires no annual fees.
All you have to do is log onto their website at: http:www.humanesociety.cm/PRT/Intro.asp and fill out a form for each pet or call them toll free at 1-800-641-KIND. They record the information in a database and then produce a tag for your pet. It contains your pet’s name, your home and work phone numbers and a toll free number for the Pet Recovery Team. I do believe it is available in the U.S. as well.
It could save your pet’s life and reunite you both. The best part is it is free!
–Until then, Ken
