We sure appreciate Linda now!

This week has been a very trying week but if you are reading this it means we made it through the thick of it fairly unscathed.
My Uncle Bob had to go to Winnipeg for heart surgery. While that on its own was stressful enough, the fact that he is married to my main Salesperson here at the Record added a lot of stress to our regular routine.
His surgery was scheduled for Thursday but eventually was postponed until Friday. It went extremely well with the doctors only taking three hours instead of the projected five to replace a faulty human valve with a cow valve.
His wife left with him last Tuesday after we got the paper out.

After she left our week quickly got very, very hectic. A special promotion being held this weekend meant the remaining two of us, Anne Mailloux and I had to really hunker down.
Well we made it, but we sure could have used the help we normally have when my Aunt Linda is here. Her being away genuinely made us appreciate her even more than we already do.
I have to say a great big thanks to Anne for all the hard work she did this week.
Bob is on the mend and should be home Wednesday. It will be good to have him and Linda back.
