Thanks George! Its been a great run!

It took nearly 30 years but over the weekend I closed a chapter in my life that I have been interested in ever since 1977.
On Saturday I went and saw Star Wars III, Revenge of the Sith.
As a 10 year old boy the first Star Wars movie was very intriguing. The evil Darth Vader worked on snuffing out the good rebellion lead by Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. But that was episode IV. Many unanswered questions flooded through my imagination. Little did I know I would have to wait this long to find out where Darth Vader came from.
Way back in the late 1970s George Lucas said he was going to make the middle three movies (IV, V, VI) and eventually would make I, II and III and then VII, VIII and IX. Now he has said there will only be the six.
While I have heard many fans say they don’t know what they will do now that the saga’s maker says it is over, I am happy with the way it has ended. Lucus gave us a great gift and it took him nearly three decades to do it. That is a tremendous amount of his career dedicated to one story.
Of course he has brought us other great adventures like Indiana Jones.
I look forward to seeing what this creative genius will bring us next. Of course I know he will draw from the force to do so.
–Until then,
Ken
