What an inspiration!
The young ladies pictured here definitely say a lot about today’s youth.
On their own they decided to do something to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. In total they raised over $300 Canadian for the cause selling Koolaid.
I am sure there are very few people that have not seen the devastation caused by the storm and wished they could do something to help.Well there is something we can do. While the Koolaid stand is gone there are still ways that we can all help.
Donations to the Salvation Army relief efforts are still being taken at the banks in Baudette.
People can also donate money to the Red Cross and mark it for the Hurricane Katrina Victims.
These young ladies have challenged us all to think about what we can do to help others in need, no matter how small or big our efforts are. For them, this was a big effort and the results were phenomenal!
–Until then, Ken
