Feeling a little Spring feverish

Have you gotten spring fever?
I have found myself thinking less and less about ice fishing lately and more about spring time and the fun that brings.
Paging through seed catalogues wondering what the trends will be this summer in perennial gardening, I found myself thinking, it will only be a few weeks and we will be back at gardening.
I guess all this warm weather at a time of year when we are usually in a deep freeze has me a little off kilter.
Yes it has felt like March lately but the reality is, even if we do not get a cold snap (all likelihood we will) spring is about four months away. How depressing.
But it is fun to dream. Fun to go outside and look at the snow covered perennial gardens and imagine what might be this sum-

mer when everything is in full bloom and my new plants are in the ground.
Perhaps I might even put a new bed or two in this year.
I know the cause of this is not sun stroke... because the sun has only been out for about 10 minutes a few days ago!
So for now I will keep looking at the catalogues and hoping that the warm weather just keeps getting warmer and we can get in the gardens early this year!
Heck the other day I even looked on line to see if major retailers had stocks of vegetable seeds on line. Unfortunately I was a bit early.

–Until then,
Ken
