Thinking spring to keep warm!

The colder weather on Monday had me wishing for spring to come sooner rather than later.
My dad and I were sitting around the breakfast counter at his place about a week and a half ago saying “Spring is just around the corner!”
Both my Mom and I have started plants inside in preparation for the season which officially begins next Tuesday.
My tomatoes are almost ready to be transplanted from their starter cells and my Mom’s Cana Lillies are more than a foot tall in the house.
Hard to believe that in only a few weeks (or less if we are lucky) the snow will be gone and April Showers will begin helping bring May Flowers.
Last year the first two weeks of April were very warm and then the weather turned on us for a month. I am hoping it turns nice and stays nice this year.
In addition to trying to bring spring on quicker through early gardening, we have also been talking about dates for camping trips this year. In fact we decided that we are going to be optimistic about the weather and booked sites for the long weekend in May! I can not wait!
Thinking spring is pretty much all one can do to keep warm when the wind comes from the north at this time of year. But soon those thoughts will be reality.
