Pain everywhere

OOOOOHHHHH my aching back..... legs... arms....
You name it, it hurt on me come Monday.
I, like so many people ventured out into the world of yard work on the weekend and boy was I paying for it the first of the week.
Marjorie Byrnes and her daughter and son-in-law from Toronto walked by on Saturday and commented on my soon to be blooming daffodils. I was in heaven at that point.
I told them, “Had anyone told me a few weeks ago that I would be outside in shorts working in my gardens on Easter weekend I would not have believed them.” There was still snow in my yard until the middle of last week.
But the weather has been fantastic and I was fortunate enough to have the weekend off to work in the yard.

If the pain and stiffness had kicked in instantly I probably would not have done more work Sunday but for some reason it did not.
After I completed tilling my garden Sunday and cleaning my car from top to bottom all the scooching down, bending over, digging, hauling of stuff to the compost pile, suddenly caught up with me.
I visited my Uncle Bob that afternoon and sat down for about 15 minutes and when I went to get up everything was stiff and starting to hurt.
Add a bit of a sunburn into the mix and by Monday I was in a lot of pain and moving pretty slow.
Fortunately time will heal the self-inflicted wounds and endurance levels will let me get back in the garden to try and keep ahead of the other pain in the butt.... WEEDS! –Until then, Ken
