Great weather and no bugs!

What a contrast in weather over the weekend.
From two inches of snow on the ground Friday morning to scorching temperatures both Saturday and Sunday.
On Friday I had to wear my winter coat to walk my dog and then Saturday was in shorts and a t-shirt.
At least the mosquitoes were not out in full force and allowed everyone to enjoy the weather both Saturday and Sunday.
I know I did... both work wise and pleasure wise.
I travelled to Winnipeg to help my brother with some projects around his house.

We built a pic nic table for his back yard and stained it. We also dug a hole and poured concrete in it so that a clothes line can be anchored in his yard.
Then we just relaxed and eventually went to a friend’s place in Winnipeg (Lisa Lindal) who has a beautiful deck overlooking the Assiniboine River.
With plenty of sun and no bugs it was a reminder as to how great this part of the world is to live in.
I can’t wait for the rest of spring and summer... albeit I could live without the mosquitoes.
