Welcome to the jungle!
I don’t know about your yard, but everything in mine has grown so well this year it is getting to be a bit like a jungle in places.
Navigating between my front spruce tree and flower garden has become quite a chore. Could it be the result of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere heating things up?
I heard a study on the radio the other day about students testing the effects green house gases have on plants. They focused on poison ivy... something everyone loves.
They increased the gas emissions to what they expect the atmosphere to have by 2050 and the poison ivy grew to mammoth proportions and became even more poison.
It has been a warm spring and I am sure the green house gases are a very small part of my new jungle, but one wonders what will happen to our gardens and other plants in the next 50 years.
