What is your best guess?

It definitely feels like fall is just around the corner.
The cooler winds this past week have that signature feel and smell of fall about them. And some of the trees have started to lose their leaves
My garden is just about done at least a month early this year.
So what will the fall hold in store for us?
I am hoping it is a nice mild September like many of the past ten or so. That makes events a little easier to take in especially when it is not damp and cold. But the way this spring (early) and summer (hot and dry) have gone... I am sure we are going to pay for it so it is likely that if September is nice the winter will be brutal.
However, an elder told me a few weeks ago that with all the hornets/wasps nesting in the ground this year that that is an indication that we will get a mild winter with very little snow cover.
So who knows what will happen.
Man keeps saying Global Warming is happening based on weather records to date. But we as a society have really only been recording the weather for a little more than a century.
So in the scope of things, this planet being millions of years old, we are guessing at best that we are actually seeing Global Warming and not just the natural cycle of things.
Forecasting a few days ahead proves to be a challenge, so perhaps we should look at renaming weather people to Weather Guessers.
–Until then,
