Family curling night Mar. 26

By Kendall Olsen
Principal

Riverview School Council will be hosting a Family Curling Night on Monday March 26, 2007. Students and their families are welcome to participate in this event whether they have ever curled before or not. In fact this event would be a great way to
introduce your family to curling if you have not already done so. The whole idea is to come out and have fun. The evening begins at 4:30 pm and runs to about 8:30 pm at the curling rink. If you can come for only a part of the evening that is just fine.
A light supper is being planned between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. Families are asked to register by Thursday, March 22nd at the latest so that a schedule can be made up and the supper planned. Participants are asked to bring a clean pair of shoes to the
rink. There is no charge for this event as funding has been secured through a special grant from the Ministry of Education. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening. We hope that you are able to participate and we look forward to seeing you on the ice.
Parents are reminded of the early dismissal day on Wednesday, March 28th. Students will leave the school at 1:45 on that day.
