We need "Super" commercials all year

Why is it that once a year we all sit with anticipation, waiting for commercials?
Super Bowl commercials are often more of a draw than the actual football game itself. While they were both equally interesting this year, I found myself asking Monday morning, why is it that we wait so eagerly to see the commercials.
The answer is fairly simple. They are for the most part very entertaining. Mostly funny some more serious but yet entertaining.
That spawned another question. Why can't we have Super Bowl quality commercials all year long?
I know myself that I mute about 90% of all commercials throughout the year. They are usually drab, boring or down right annoying.
During Super Bowl the mute button was not even thought of.
Advertisers need to push the creators of their ads for greater creativity throughout the year.
If commercials were more entertaining less people would mute them or in the new technology known as a PVR skip right through them with a click of the button.
We know what we like in an advertisement, why haven't the advertisers figured that out yet?
–Until then,
