Shattering beginning to the work week

What did I do to tick someone off this week?
That was the question Monday morning when I arrived at work and discovered someone had broken one of our windows at the Record office.
It was the window to my office so right away reaction from everyone including the police, my boss, coworkers and friends and family was "What did you write that ticked someone off?"
Nothing came to mind, but when you have been doing this job as long as I have then you know that the list of things that peeved off readers is long and dates back nearly two decades.
The window break garnered a great deal of attention and for a while there I was talking out the broken glass to the police and the landlord who came and repaired it almost immediately. I laughed and said I should be selling ice cream out my window.
The vandal did not enter the office and damage was limited to the broken glass and the feelings we had of being violated. The act appeared to be random.
