Camera phone a sales gimmick
Have you ever purchased a piece of new fangled technology in awe of its amazing capabilities?
In recent months many of you may have done that when you upgraded your cell phones through TBaytel.
I have seen the UT Starcom phones everywhere.
Salesmen and women show the cell phone to you extolling the features. Great sound, digital signal, multiple ring tones and most impressively a digital camera! Wow! A phone that is a camera!
Well after learning how the features work and taking a few photos, one, like myself, wondered how to get the photos off the phone and either into printed format or onto the home computer.
A call to TBaytel yielded the fact that they do not have cables or any way for you to get the photos off the phone.
I emailed UT Starcom over the weekend and they as well have not manufactured a cable for this model.
So why put a useless camera on the phone in the first place? Probably a sales gimmick because it truly is a waste of circuitry.
