A year away, but only for a day!

Well the Christmas rush is just around the corner.
As you can see from our pages there are events coming, people gearing up to help other people and businesses planning sales for you to see.
Christmas seems so far away when it is a year away. Then in the spring and summer it is hard to fathom that it is only six months away.
September comes and we realize it will be here a few months.
Now we are seeing snow fall, the winds blow and a flurry of economic activity... we now know it will be here before we know it.
One month from today we will all be gathering together with our families and celebrating this most sacred of holidays.
It is fun from the time a child can remember to the present (at least for me!).
But it is only one day in an entire year, yet we think of it so often throughout the year.
From now until Dec. 25th there will be a mad rush. The Americans start their big shopping drive this Friday. Many of us Canadians have been at it already and if not will join the madness very soon.
Then it will come and go... and before you know it will start all over again... even if it is a year away only for a day.
