Those darn Gremlins are at it again

Where oh where did that present go?
That was the question I found myself asking over and over since returning home from Bemidji on Saturday.
It was one of the very last presents to be bought and I know I had it on Friday.
I thought I had packed it in my suitcase to bring home but when I arrived at home It was gone!!!
I called my fiancee in Bemidji to see if it was there.
Both of us went on a searching spree and neither of us found it.
I wracked my brain over night and searched a few more spots like my car and its trunk Sunday morning. Still no luck.
Kim checked her bedroom (where my bag was) and went through her laundry.
The missing present was still not to be found.... where could it be?
Sunday afternoon I spent the day wrapping presents and all the while was thinking where could that last present be?
Both of us redoubled our efforts and could still not find the present.
We are hoping it will pop up before the 23rd (the day Kim is coming here) or else we will have to buy another one.
What will probably happen is we will buy another one and then find the missing one some time in July. That is usually the way things go when you know you put something somewhere and then it goes missing.
Those Gremlins are crafty buggers and come to think of it we were watching that movie on the bedroom t.v. Friday evening....
