My first buzz of the year!

Got a buzz?
Well Monday morning I started to shave when all of a sudden I realized I had my first buzz of the year!
How exciting is that! It went buzz, buzz, buzz all around my head and yes my head was spinning!
Spinning that is to see the first fly of the spring flying and buzzing at the vanity lights in the bathroom!
Yes my buzz was uplifting as it made me realize that spring is just around the corner.
Of course I know in my heart that we will likely have another cold snap between now and the official beginning of spring. But as with every buzz one gets a bit delusional!
After shaving and showering I went downstairs thinking my buzz was now past. Then I looked out the window to see that it was raining and above freezing in February! Now I was wondering if there was really vodka coming out of the tap from which I had a drink of water, and I was really buzzed!
Rubbed my eyes and shook my head... nope I did not have a buzz.... it really was raining.
Later walking to work, the slippery ground had many people walking like they too had a buzz... slipping and sliding away.
And all day on the radio the buzz was about how icy it was out there and which places were closed or closing early.
At the end of the day I slowly baby stepped my way home, hoping that the buzzing fly that started this buzz would not keep me up all night flying at the window trying to reach the full moon!
