Good news was worth the scramble Monday
It was a mad scramble for me on Monday as I returned from a trip to Minneapolis.
As regular readers of Ken's Korner know I took my fiancee Kim to see a specialist in January in Minneapolis. Well we went back for a follow-up visit this past Thursday and Friday and it is amazing how much difference a couple of months can make.
After all the tests, poking, prodding, drawing of blood and some new medication, she received a good prognosis.
The Dr. ruled out all kinds of life threatening illnesses and was pleased that the medication she is on has increased her functionality to near normal at times. Even better news is that the dosage of the meds. can be increased by more that three fold and she could end up living her life as normal as any of the rest of us. It was great news!
When I returned here Monday I had to scramble to get the paper out. But with the help of my coworkers, especially Anne Mailloux and Duane Hicks, we "got 'er dun!" Thanks Anne.
The good news Kim and I received was worth all the scrambling.
–Until then,
Ken
