Watch the stores for the forecast

Now I know why stores have their fall fashions out on display in late June. They have insider information!!!
Yup the stores must have a direct line to Mother Nature and/or God. After all they put the warmer clothing out just in time for the coldest July on record! Brrrrrr!
Even the weather forecasters don't have as good as information as the stores. I have watched the weather forecasts on several television sources, looked up multiple web based sources and all have been promising it will get warmer in the next week or so. Then the next week or so came and it stayed cold and wet for the most part.
All the while the stores quietly put their summer stock on clearance and proudly promoted this year's fall fashions!!!
Now that the coldest July on record is over, and August is here, the weather men and women are rolling the dice on what they think is a sure thing... August will be warm! (It has to be... it usually is one of the hottest months).
But again here we are in the first week of August and it again is cool and promises to be wet intermittently. The forecasters are saying in about a week it will be hotter than hot! But we have heard that all summer.
Meanwhile down at the stores, rolling out just behind the fall fashion racks and back to school stuff.... the stores have a scoop for us. Winter fashions will be out and we can guess that means August will be cool and September will be Wintery. I am hedging my bets and keeping an eye on the stores for my forecast from now on!
