Single car accident

On Saturday September 12 2009 about 8:00 p.m. the Rainy River Volunteer Fire Dept. was called out to a single motor vehicle accident two miles west of Stratton. Maria Teresa BigGeorge of Rainy River, was going west bound on Hwy. 11 in her 1999 Chevy Malibu. When she saw a deer in the middle of the road she swerved to miss the deer on the road and she lost control. The car entered the ditch and rolled over. Maria and the kids were all wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. Rainy River Ambulance transported Maria and the kids to Rainy River Hospital. There was no word on their condition at press time.
