Alzheimer dinner just around the corner!

The annual Linda Johnston Memorial Alzheimer Dinner to Remember is just around the corner and organizers are busy getting ready for it! The event is scheduled for Jan. 23rd at the Rainy River Legion. Committee member Marlene McNally is busy soliciting and collecting items for the always great penny table. If you have anything you would like to contribute contact her or leave it at the Record office.
The Chairs for Charity raffle is almost ready. One of the chairs, done by local artists is already done. It is seen here and is a Spring/Summer garden scene done by Gregg Armistead. Three more chairs will be done soon so watch for tickets around town.
Everything will culminate on Jan. 23rd with a roast beef dinner, for which tickets will be going on sale in the early new year.
