A sure sign of Spring!
The Rainy River went out in front of the Town of Rainy River at sunset this past Tuesday, March 16, 2010. This is the third earliest ice out date on record and is likely due to the exceptionally mild first half of March this year! This photo shows the ice just breaking up looking west of Government dock.
