We are experiencing technical difficulties

Many of you were likely frustrated this past week when you tried to log onto the Record’s website (www.RainyRiverRecord.com).
At first it came up as unfound. Then a message saying we were experiencing technical difficulties appeared for most of the week.
Difficulties is a mild term. In fact our web people likely aged 20 years last week trying to rebuild a skyscraper from the top down.
Early last Monday they received a call from company that hosts all the sites the Fort Frances Times wed division services, explaining that a key hard drive in their server had

crashed and crashed big time. That includes many businesses in the Rainy River District; not just the Record and Fort Frances Times’ sites.
That sent the web division at the Times into overdrive rebuilding all customers’ sites. The Times and Record sites were partially restored by week’s end and are still being worked on as you read this. So please bear with us. Hopefully things will return to normal within the next week.
