Hip bone is connected to the broken toe bone...

The hip bone is connected to the broken toe bone... well at least it is on me this week!
Have you ever left something on the stairs with the intention of moving it later? Well I did last week when I was wet vacuuming the water off my basement floor. However, I forgot to move it after I was done.
On Saturday in anticipation of my honey arriving from Bemidji, I decided to do some house cleaning. First on the list was laundry.
My washer and dryer are in the basement. I gathered up clothes, towels, sheets, etc. and put them in a basket.
I then proceeded down the first flight of stairs from my second story to my main level. Then it was down the basement stairs. I clicked on the light switch, basket still in my arms and proceeded.
With about four or five steps to go I stepped on the stuff I left on the stairs earlier in the week. Out went my feet, and I hit my tail bone hard first then rolled down. When and how I broke my baby toe and the one next to it on my foot is a mystery to me!
Now I sport some lovely purple on my toes and the blackest plumber's crack around. The pain shoots from my toe to my tailbone so I know they must be connected!
–Until then, Ken
