Anxious to get out into the gardens

Have you had enough of this cold and dreary weather?
I know I have and can’t wait to get out doors and work in the gardens.
I have plants started in the house and outside the perennials are starting to really break through the earth.
Being cooped up all winter and lately for most of my free days off, I am extremely anxious to work the earth.
Many people were fortunate enough to get to go to the Forest Women’s Institute seminar on how to grow a perennial garden last week and then later in the week the giant pumpkin seminar. Turnout for both was phenomenal, making me think that there are many, many area people as anxious as me right now.
But the relief we all need will only come if Mother Nature delivers us some nice weather for several days in a row.
–Until then,
