Concert time!

The Rainy River Community Choir performed in Pinewood Sunday and Baudette last night. Their concert was called Music for the Season.

Best float!

The Rainy River Clinic won the top float prize in the annual RR Santa Claus Parade of Lights! They won $100 for their float. Coming in second was RR Drugs ($75) and third was the United Church ($25). There were nine floats in the parade.

Congratulations!

Norma-Jean Johnston retired from her Education Assistant job last Wednesday. She has worked at various schools in the district, including both Rainy River facilities. When she retired she was working at RRHS. A tea was thrown in her honour last Wednesday. She is seen here being thanked and congratulated by RRHS Principal Jim Chorney, left, and Vice-Principal Don McBride.

The Champs!

Riverview School's girls volleyball team won the regional championships over the weekend in Fort Frances. They went undefeated through round robin and the playoffs.
