This is a little duck. It is also a duck of many colours, and it has a crested head. It also nests in trees. Not entirely an oddball, but maybe not too far from it.

An announcement came across the news service this week that the last wood hockey stick manufacturer in Quebec was ending the production of its wood hockey sticks. Sher-Wood located in Sherbrooke will begin outsourcing its wooden hockey sticks in January. After 58 years of making the famous Quebec stick, the factory will manufacture its last stick in January.
Wood hockey sticks were the extensions of the legends of my time, Rocket Richard, Jean Beleveau, Bobby Orr, Guy LaFleur, and Gordy Howe. Bobby Hull, and Grump Worsley.

There is only one thing more satisfying to a woman than being right.
That is in the process of being right, she proves her husband is wrong.

My mother is a youthful 81. The age old saying “Moss won’t grow under her toes” was never truer of anyone. While most people have retired and look to a much more relaxed lifestyle, she continues to amaze us.
She was showing my wife her calendar for the month of October that had just skipped by last Saturday night. Everyday, she had penciled in at least one activity to attend or take part in. Her regular schedule begins each morning with a session at Curves.
