Those darn gremlins got into my letter!
Dear Editor
I see those darn gremlins in the Record Office were inserting viruses in my letter of June 1st. As one who enjoys doing the comparrot puzzle I spotted nine differences in the letter which appeared in print as compared to the original. Here are two of the words which were inserted by the gremlin. Domestic rights should have been democratic rights. Progress and humanitarian should have been proper and humanitarian. Also demand so should have read as demands of.
Hopefully those who read my letter can spot the other six errors. As a person who knows that gremlins do haunt the Record Office I am very reluctant to write letters to the editor and sometimes after having written a letter I decide not to post it.
By the way wasn’t last week’s comparrot puzzle identical to that which appeared in the May 26th issue?
