Free programs continue at RR Library

By Michael Dawber
Assistant Librarian

Kids and parents can continue to enjoy free programs this August at the Rainy River Public Library!
Our summer reading program – Destination Jungle – continues every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
Our summer program leader, Alyssa, will be taking children ages six and up on a jungle adventure.
We will have stories, games and crafts. Each program will run about an hour.
For younger readers, Alyssa and assistant librarian Michael Dawber continue to run a pre-schooler storytime every Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
Our storytimes will run about 30 minutes, and will be for caregivers and children under age six.
We will also do a craft to go along with our stories.
Best of all: our programs are totally free!
Just call the library at 807.852.3375 to let us know you will be attending.
You do not need to attend every program – you can enjoy any program.
And before your next visit, check out our new on-line listing of new books and videos.
Just surf to rainyriver.jasinorth.ca and click on the link that says “New Books” at the bottom left.
You can put a hold on these titles with your library card number and PIN number.
Don’t have your PIN yet? Just call the library.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!
