Forest Women’s Institute finalizing plans for centennial

Forest Women’s Institute met on June 15 at the home of Gisela Mykytyn.
The meeting was called to order and opened with the Women’s Institute Ode.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and were accepted as amended by the members.
Treasurer’s Report was presented and accepted by the members. All bills were paid.
A report on the District Annual Meeting was given by Dorothy Wiersema. The area Convention will be held in Bergland September 20 & 21.
A special Meeting will be held at Eleanor Wiersema’s on July 6th at 7:30. At this time F.W.I. will finalize plans for a pancake breakfast on July 30th during the centennial celebrations. It is also important that as many members as possible to be there so that plans can be made for the upcoming fashion show. Volunteers are needed to model the clothing F.W.I. has been so fortunate to have loaned to it.
Laurel won the door prize and Gisela Mykytyn won the raffle.
A delicious lunch was served by our hostess. Thank you Gisela.
