Wish I could be at the big party!

Dear Centennial Committee,
Wow! Am I impressed with your web site! My cousin sent me the link ... unbelievable for the little town (as I remember it) of Rainy River!
A little background on me ... my grandparents were Eva and Mike Petosky. My mother was Nellie (Petosky) Holderby, and my cousin’s father was Walter Petosky. I live in Rochester, MN, where my uncle, Al Petosky and his wife, JoAnn, alternate homes with Sun City, AZ. My mother passed away 5 yrs ago, and with Walter and Joe gone, my cousin and I are all that’s left on the Petosky side.
I haven’t been back to Rainy River for eons! I’m trying to orient myself (on the map) to where Grandma’s house was ... she lived just a couple doors down from the little grocery that was owned by the Wilsons. When my cousin and I were MUCH younger and in town visiting, we’d ‘hang out’ with Gary Wilson and Vaughn Murray ... I don’t recall ever knowing any girls our age!! (by the way, this ISN’T a statement on my ‘wild’ childhood! ha ha)
Anyway, just wanted to compliment your great web work. I wish I could come north for the festivities, but it conflicts with my work schedule. Best wishes to all for a wonderful celebration!!
