We started our regular meetings, after a summer recess, with 14 members present, and one visitor Gerry Smart, nice to have you all back with us.
We opened with the auxiliary prayer read by all, and continued into our meeting. The minutes of the last meeting were read and the financial statement given. Both accepted as read.
Correspondence, a "Thank You" from the eye van committee for assistance given by our members, also a notice for the North West Region executive conference to be held at Dryden, September 18th. Three of our members will be going.
In new Business our first priority was the Walleye Tournament. We will again do Bingo on the 24th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will also do the Hook Line and Sinker boards. Workers were designated for both projects. We were also reminded the Christmas Bazaar is coming up, December 5, "think about it". Again we will have a 50/50 draw. Most important was an Acrtic Cat one and only Jacket and toque, donated to us by Gerry Smart. This was the only one made, there are no others. We will be selling raffle tickets on this in the very near future, the winner to be drawn at the Bazaar. All monies from this goes to our Bathtub project. The lucky person will have a one and only.
This concluded our meeting, we adjourned, and our next meeting is October 5 at the hospital at 1:30 p.m.
