Grade 8 and 12 students graduate from SCAP

Sturgeon Creek Alternative program held their annual graduation at Sturgeon Creek School before a packed house.
The SCAP band was a first for the school under the direction of Scott Roos. They played the prelude and the recessional. Don Ricci was the emcee for the evening.
The Valedictory (grade 8) address was given by Andrew Friesen. Certificates were presented by Don McBride and Don Ricci.
Senior Valedictory address was given by Ryan McInerney. He spoke on where we are in our lives.
McBride and John Loewen presented Secondary school diplomas.
Awards were handled by McBride and Scott Roos. Top Academic Awards on the honour roll, too numerous to mention, all we can say its awesome the marks students racked up, they all were recognized.

Christian parents Association presented to Madeline Dyck and Ryan McInerney.
SCAP Faculty presented to Kristen Friesen.
Ontario Principal’s award presented by Principal Don McBride to Ryan McInerney.
Three volunteers were recognized, they are Miss Newell, who is returning to her home town at Kingston, Miss Backstrom and Mrs. Giles. 2004 grads at SCAP were Grade 8 graduates, Timo Brielmann, Jeremy Cole, Andrew Friesen, Sam Hayes, Daniel McBride, Brandon Olsen, Damarie Reid, Brianna Shortreed and Belinda Smart.
Grade 12 graduating class, Madeline Dyck, Kristen Friesen, Anna Galusha, David Goodman, Katie McInerney, Daniel Nussbaumer and Jeremy Rempel.
