Three kids from the Bergland area recently travelled to the Metrodome in Minneapolis to have an experience of a lifetime.
Courtney and Hillary Hansen and Mikala Jack all travelled to the Twin Cities to participate in the annual Just For Kix dance for the Twins Fans day on May 17th.
The trio were among 280 other dancers that met early on the Saturday and learned from the head of Just For Kix, Cindy Clough. They practised to a medley of songs, using many props.
Then in the pregame show they took to the field where they used ribbons, pom poms, a pink cadillac and guitars to add that much more to their dance performance.
After their performance they received gifts from the Minnesota Twins baseball team and stayed for the ball game.
This was Courtney and Mikala’s first time at the event and Hillary’s fourth. In addition to the performance, the girls really enjoyed meeting Cindy Clough who is the founder of Just For Kix.
