Veteran's Tea set for Nov. 7th

The Legion Ladies Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on October 13, with 1st Vice President Evelyn Bourre presiding, in the absence of President Val Nelson.
Minutes of the Sept meeting were read and approved. Donna Ivall gave her report on the auxiliary's finances. A group of ladies will meet at the Legion on October 21st to wash and iron all the Memorial Flags that are displayed in the Club room.
The annual Veterans Tea will be held in the Legion Hall on Nov 7th from 1 - 4 p.m. There will be tables rented by various venders to sell their baking, crafts, etc. A penny table and draw will be held. Each Auxiliary member is asked to donate an item valued at $10.00 or more for the penny tables. Please drop items off at the Legion before Nov 4th.
The Auxiliary will be laying a wreath at the Nov 11th Remembrance Day Service. Anyone wishing to rent a table for the Tea on Nov 7th is asked to phone Donna Ivall at 852-3620 or Gladys Yeo at 852-3294.
