Christmas bazaar not far away

Twenty-one members showed up for our regular November meeting. It was great to have so many come.
We opened with the Auxiliary prayer, followed by Carolee reading the minutes from the last meeting.
In business arising from the minutes, the Christmas Bazaar was the only item to take care of. It is at the Community Centre on December 5th from 2 - 4 p.m. We will be setting up tables, etc on Dec. 4 at 10:00. Anyone able to come and help are welcome. Penny table items are to be at Carolee Hogues by November 25th, or let Dawn Jarvis know the item you are going to give and the cost and bring it Saturday morning. Dawn's phone number is 852-3952. Betty Blight will be phoning for pies.
Your membership dues are due, there will be a table to pay at, and new members are welcome. Membership cost is $3.00 per year.
Tickets for the 50/50 draw and the Arctic Cat Jacket are also available. There are some indoor draws.
Cost at the door is $3.00, includes pie and coffee or tea.
We continued the meeting with a financial report by Dawn Jarvis, and reports by the special committees. It was reported Meghan Shanks at the Community Centre is working on a Calendar, updating community events. If you have events you would like to have on it, phone her at 852-4446.
Our next meeting is a Luncheon at the C.N. Hotel on December 7th, cost is $10.00, Have your money at the Bake shop by November 30th. See you there.
