A safe and enjoyable night

Bob McGreevy

“A ton of fun.” That’s how one student described Rainy River High School‚s first Chem Free grad party in recent years. More than forty students participated in the evening’s activities which included: inflatable games such as boxing, velcro wall, bungee run and obstacle course as well as basketball, video and card games, and the OPP Sim Car.
“This party was great, and the prizes were awesome,” remarked another student as draws were held for things like gift certificates, camping gear, clothing and much more. There was food and drink galore. Students and chaperones alike had a fantastic time, so much so that they didn‚t make it home until after 5:00 am.
Our thanks go out to all of those who donated prizes, money, food and time. A special thanks to our parent committee who worked hard to make it all happen and to those who chaperoned until the wee hours.
The winner of the 50/50 draw was Angele Robichaud from Devlin, who won $396.50.
