Volunteers needed to drive seniors to activities

Thirteen members attended our regular meeting on February 1st. We opened by all reading the auxiliary prayer, followed up with the minutes of the last meeting and the financial report and reports from the special committees.
It was brought to our attention, that the long term wing of the hospital is in need of commodes.
President Pat Acree will discuss this with Tammy McNally and depending on the cost the auxiliary will get them one or two.
Also we are asking for volunteers to drive seniors to the Station for their gatherings on Wednesdays. We do have a few regular drivers, however if they are unavailable we need someone to call on. If you can give a Wednesday afternoon, phone Darlene Armstrong at 852-3876.
We will be doing Valentines Parties at both the long term care and the station, long term is Feb 14, and station is Feb 16. Tea, coffee, and Cherry Cha Cha will be served.
Our Auxiliary Spring Conference will be held at Kenora in April, however we do not have a definite date yet. We should know by the next meeting, which is on March 1 at the hospital at 1:30. See you there. Anyone can attend, new members are needed and welcome.
