Legion ladies to donate to Family Day

The local branch of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on Feb 9 with President Val Nelson presiding. Minutes of the Jan meeting were read and accounts were authorized for payment. Donna gave an account of the Auxiliary's finances.
Correspondence was read and dealt with. A donation will be made to the Rec Centre for Family Day activities. Also a donation will be given to the Legion Sports Camp in Thunder Bay to be held in July & August. Local children may attend this.
The Legion Auxiliary will be holding a sale sometime in April at the Legion Hall. This is a reminder to all members to start collecting your used or new articles that could be donated to this sale. We will arrange to pick up anything you donate. A notice will be published later with the date and time of the sale. Anything anyone in the community would like to get rid of would be welcomed, as long as it is in usable condition.
