St. Pat's parties planned

By Irene Hanson
Hospital Auxiliary

Only eight members showed for our March meeting. Many of the regulars were gone. As usual we opened with President Pat Acree and all members reading the Auxiliary Prayer.
In the absence of our secretary, Pat read the minutes of the last meeting. In the absence of our treasurer, there was no financial report. The only old business was the purchase of a commode, and at this point no more has been done. We will purchase at least one, and have received a $50.00 donation towards this, for which we are very grateful.
New Business: There will be St. Patrick's parties held both at the hospital long term, and at the depot; at the depot on March 16 and the hospital on March 17.
The 50/50 tickets will be out shortly, to be drawn at the Strawberry Social in May. There will also be indoor draws. A hooked rug has already been donated towards this.
We will again take part in the Trade Show with our usual rock-a-thon. Anyone willing to rock, let Pat Acree know (852-4192). Pledge sheets are available.
Bev Langner reported on her meeting at the Foundation Board in April. There will be an old bags lunch to be held April 19 at the High School Cafeteria at the Fort. Anyone interested in giving a bag, get in touch with Bev before March 25, as that is her next meeting.
This concluded our meeting, the next one is April 5 at the hospital. Hope to see you all there.
